The average life expectancy of humans now-a-days is about 70 years. This has reduced from the average life expectancy of 100 years many years back. This is because the people these days are a little less concerned about the health and a little more concerned about other non important stuff. This is also because they are involved in fast-food, cold-drinks and not the healthy fruits and vegetables our great-grand parents used to have. This is also because of the growing risk of various types of diseases. But still, in spite of all this, if taken proper care, one can live very long and healthy life. There are just a few things that are needed to be changed. Some the things that you must take care of are mentioned below:

10. Stay connected:


Being with your loved ones, around the friends and family will help you stay on this planet for long. Interacting regularly with others is the best way in which one can avoid depression. Depression is one of the root causes of diseases, specially in old age. Not only interaction and being socially sound takes you away from depression but has many other benefits. Psychologists have proved that exercises done in a group has more impact on the mind and body instead of exercising alone. Similarly, if you have a company while walking then it will benefit you more instead of just walking alone. If not a group, but you should at least have one regular connection, someone whom you will see daily. This is necessary because they will have your back and will be the first one to notice your health issues and will also take care of you, take you to the hospital and look after you.

Changing your routine, for example sleeping late, may disturb your body and it becomes harder to bounce back from it. For a long and healthy life, this must be avoided and a fiber-rich breakfast can do wonders in saving you from high blood sugar levels.
