I, personally, would be surprised to come across a person who doesn’t think about keeping fit. Well, it’s one of the best ways to respect your body in my opinion. Well then, make fitness your hobby! Don’t be surprised if you come across plenty of fitness freaks in the world. The very thought of jogging, stretching and yoga could make the mind feel tired. That sense of companionship and friendship is at its peak, and believe it or not, humans love to have good friendship surround them 24×7. It’s a human tendency to want people to interact with, and friends to tease. It is understood that nobody wishes to be by themselves alone in this world, cut-off from so many good happy things to do. Socializing and interacting can be one amazing hobby. Meeting new people, widening your friends circle etc. etc. Socializing as a hobby can help in so many ways. The more people you know, the wider your circle gets and the better it is for you. Getting the art of socializing in your blood is effective in the long run, and can pave the path to where you end up in your life and career. You’ll be surprised to know that there are individuals who’ve made their career alone through talking and interacting with people! Socializing can be a fun hobby if you’re extremely forward going. If you love to eat your heart out every time, this could be a useful hobby for you. Learning to cook and cooking can be very effective when you are looking to do something extremely different. Cooking allows you to experiment, and play along with whatever your mind is thinking. Its one hobby that can work wonders for you too. It not only helps you fill your tummy whenever you want to, but it can also make you a fortune. Look at all those little kids cooking happily away on Masterchef Australia. It’s not something that they ‘have’ to do. It’s something they ‘want’ to do and they enjoy doing. Some people cook because it helps relax the mind. Many do it because it thrills to experiment or to improve their skills to cook up an exotic dish that they have only seen on TV before. The other reason for its popularity is that you can learn cooking and improve your skills right at home.  So why is cooking so relaxing? It takes your mind off your everyday problems. The best way to relax is to do something that you enjoy. And if you enjoy cooking then it is the best way to relax. Cooking also provides something meditative about preparing and putting together all those ingredients. 4. Be a language freak!

Why not? Studying different languages can obviously be a hobby, no doubt. That’s if it interests you of course. If the language the French speak interests you, you might as well learn French! Learning a different language is useful today, as the buzz is you get good jobs outside India if you have good knowledge in different languages. Yes, one will always know and use English well. 3. Photography:

Photography is one the fastest growing hobbies in the world today. I believe it is true, as I see so many youngsters taking to photography around me. I have even lost count of the number of photography pages I follow on facebook! The number is huge. Modern technology has helped as a catalyst in generating interest in this hobby, making it more and more widespread. The digital camera has literally boosted photography as a hobby, making it easier for people to indulge in it. This widespread hobby can be a real stress-buster when you need one, and can also help in relaxing the mind. As humans, we see so many breath-taking sights on holidays and sightseeing. There is that little part of us who’d want to capture those moments forever. Photography lets you capture these beautiful moments, helping you to preserve them. It’s a hobby that could help the human vision explore more. It can be an absolute delight when you try and take several shots at several angles of an old tree standing eerily by a quite lake. The thrill one receives on taking a beautiful snapshot is one that can regenerate the positive energy one’s body sends out. It’s a beautiful hobby to inculcate. Ask any photographer how much they enjoy this hobby. The ‘stop and admire’ picture they snapshot will say it all.

2. Reading:

Read and read and read and read. No wait, nobody is forcing you to read! Rather, you could yourself get to reading something useful, it could be a blog or a book or a newspaper report or a feature article. Reading is one of the best hobbies that one can inherit, in my opinion. Take for example the novels written these days. Novels are so useful when you wish to divert yourself from the various stresses in your life. Fiction novels transport you to a different world altogether, thus leading your mind to explore something new. Reading, as a hobby, has its own significances. The more you read, the more you feed your mind with something useful. It is a hobby that can be fun, adventurous and serve the quests of your vibrant imagination. You could be reading a blog online, or a featured article on a website. Either way, you’re reading something new and quite possibly something interesting. Reading the newspaper every morning also keeps you aware of the world around you. But it must be said here, reading is best done when done with interest. One can’t just force himself to read anything and everything. Reading is also a way of defining one’s personality in a small way. The more you read, the more you improve your vocabulary. Hence, that makes you more accustomed with the way you speak. Trust me, reading is a wonderful hobby. If you wish to have your mind diverted, or you wish to lead your exploratory mind somewhere, reading is the perfect dose.
